1983 : Panpharma is created in Fougeres by Pierre-Richard Dick. It is initially devoted to production of pharmaceutical veterinary specialties. Mr. Dick also founded Virbac, today one of the leading companies in the world for veterinary products.
1987 : The group moves into human use pharmaceuticals with the development of a first product line of essential parenteral drugs for export and non-profit health organizations.
1988 : A line of parenteral generics is launched on the French hospital and clinics market.

1997 : Full renovation of the Fougeres production site. It consists then of 2 production units totalling 3 production lines.
1998 : A new Quality Control lab is set up. Panpharma generates a turnover of 17 million euros and employs 90 persons.
1999 : Acquisition of Rotexmedica GmbH, a German company founded in 1971 based in Trittau, east of Hamburg and specialized in sterile injectable solutions.
2002 : Acquisition of the Flavelab production plant, located 100 km south west of Fougeres and specialized in the aseptic filling of sterile injectable powders.
In 2009, Groupe Panpharma's turnover is 74 million euros. It employs more than 370 persons. |
